Parents today are idiots

Last night, i watched Final Destination (FD) 5 movie with my GF.
In the waiting lounge, we came across a family, a couple carrying a boy & a girl.
The kids were quite an eyesore, running back & forth.
Minutes later, the gate was opened & we entered the theatre.
To my surprise, we sat NEXT to THAT family.

Now wait a minute....taking your kids to watch FD?
Not a good choice, dummies.

I'm sure they were aware that FD was not Spongebob, nor Teletubbies.
It is a gore movie, fully packed with SADISTIC scenes (although i found the scenes too fake and dull).
Aaaand, my concern was proved to be true.
In the middle of the movie, the kids snapped & cried loudly.

Seeing an eyeball popped out during Lasix surgery & was run over by a car must be a real shock.
Not to mention a scene where a man was pierced by dozens of acupuncture needles.
It made me wonder, what do parents think nowadays ?
Giving your children a traumatic experience is not a very wise thing to do.
I always remember my teacher's quote : children are not the mini-version of adults.
Letting the kids watch gore movies & hoping that they will forget them overnight? *Sigh*
Just don't blame the kids when they develop phobias towards needle and surgery, will ya?
